Product specifications, photographs, dimensions, colours and other information displayed online are provided for general reference. Minor variations may occur between product images and the actual product supplied.

All products are subject to availability. Display of a product on our website does not guarantee immediate availability for delivery.

Where an ordered product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, UTICAsia Energy may:

  • Offer a reasonable alternative product
  • Provide an estimated future delivery date
  • Cancel the affected portion of the order and refund the applicable amount paid

All prices displayed on our website are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated. Where UTICAsia Energy is GST-registered, public prices will be displayed inclusive of GST in accordance with applicable Singapore requirements.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the product price does not include:

  • Delivery charges
  • Installation charges
  • Site survey charges
  • Electrical works
  • Permit or authority fees
  • Testing and commissioning
  • Additional materials
  • Crane, lifting or special-access charges
  • Other services not expressly included in the product listing

Any applicable additional charges will be communicated to the customer before the relevant work is carried out.

An order submitted through the online store constitutes an offer by the customer to purchase the selected products. An order is considered accepted only when UTICAsia Energy confirms the order.

UTICAsia Energy reserves the right to decline or cancel an order where:

  • The product is unavailable
  • There is an obvious pricing or product-description error
  • Payment cannot be verified
  • The customer has provided incomplete or incorrect information
  • The transaction appears fraudulent or unauthorised
  • Delivery or installation cannot reasonably be completed

If UTICAsia Energy cancels an order after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.

UTICAsia Energy takes reasonable steps to ensure that product prices and information displayed online are accurate. If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact the customer before processing the order.

The customer may then choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the affected order and receive a refund.

Payment may be made using the payment methods made available through our online store. Orders may not be processed until payment has been successfully received or otherwise authorised.

For customised, project-based or special-order products, UTICAsia Energy may require a deposit or full payment before procurement or production begins.

Delivery dates are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly confirmed in writing.

Delivery may be affected by:

  • Product availability
  • Supplier lead times
  • Shipping and logistics
  • Customs clearance
  • Weather
  • Site accessibility
  • Public holidays
  • Transport restrictions
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is accurate and that reasonable access is available.

Additional delivery charges may apply where delivery requires multiple attempts, the customer is unavailable, access is restricted, special lifting equipment is required, the delivery location is changed after confirmation, or a special delivery arrangement is requested.

Customers are encouraged to inspect products promptly upon delivery. Any visible damage, shortage or incorrect product should be reported to UTICAsia Energy as soon as reasonably practicable, preferably within 48 hours of delivery, together with photographs and the relevant order or invoice number.

Failure to report visible damage within this period does not automatically remove any statutory rights or rights arising from a valid product defect.

Because many solar and electrical products are technical products, returns are subject to the conditions below.

10.1 Unused Standard Products

A customer may request a return of an unused standard-stock product within the return period stated at checkout, in the applicable quotation or otherwise confirmed in writing by UTICAsia Energy, subject to approval.

The product must:

  • Be unused
  • Be in its original packaging
  • Be complete with all accessories, manuals and components
  • Not have been installed, connected, energised or commissioned
  • Not have been damaged, modified or altered

A restocking or administrative fee may apply where disclosed before the return is approved. The customer is responsible for applicable return transportation costs unless the return is due to an error by UTICAsia Energy.

10.2 Products That Generally Cannot Be Returned

Unless required by applicable law or otherwise agreed by UTICAsia Energy, the following may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  • Customised products
  • Special-order products
  • Products procured specifically for the customer
  • Products that have been installed or commissioned
  • Used or energised electrical equipment
  • Cut-to-length cables or materials
  • Custom-built systems
  • Products damaged after delivery
  • Products altered or modified by the customer or a third party
  • Products supplied as part of a completed installation

This does not exclude any statutory rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

Where a refund is approved, UTICAsia Energy will generally refund the eligible amount through the original payment method where reasonably practicable. Refund processing time may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

Delivery charges, installation charges, site-survey charges and other services already performed may not be refundable unless the refund is required by law or the applicable service has not been provided.

If a product is defective, faulty or does not conform to the applicable sales contract, customers should contact UTICAsia Energy promptly.

Depending on the circumstances, UTICAsia Energy may arrange for inspection, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.

The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, applicable warranty terms and applicable Singapore law. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under Singapore law.

Where a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, the manufacturer's warranty period and terms will apply. Warranty periods vary by manufacturer and product.

The specific warranty applicable to a product will be stated in the product documentation, quotation, invoice or manufacturer's warranty documentation. Where appropriate, UTICAsia Energy may assist customers in submitting warranty claims to the manufacturer.

Unless otherwise stated by the applicable manufacturer warranty, warranty coverage may not apply to damage or failure caused by:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Installation by an unauthorised or unqualified person
  • Improper electrical connection
  • Incorrect system configuration
  • Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Physical damage
  • Water ingress caused by improper installation
  • Pest or animal damage
  • Lightning, surge or other external electrical events
  • Fire
  • Flood
  • Natural disasters
  • Unauthorised modification
  • Tampering
  • Operation outside the manufacturer's specified conditions
  • Improper maintenance
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Other causes expressly excluded under the manufacturer's warranty

Warranty does not normally cover consequential loss, loss of business, loss of production or other indirect losses except where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

Solar PV generation depends on many factors, including:

  • Solar irradiation
  • Weather
  • Shading
  • Roof orientation and inclination
  • Temperature
  • System design
  • Equipment efficiency
  • Soiling
  • Grid conditions
  • System availability
  • Maintenance

Unless expressly stated in a written performance guarantee, UTICAsia Energy does not guarantee a specific annual energy yield or monetary saving. Estimated energy production shown on quotations, proposals or online materials is an estimate and is not a guaranteed output.

Where installation is purchased, installation will be carried out according to the agreed scope of work. Additional charges may apply if site conditions differ materially from the information provided before quotation.

Examples include:

  • Difficult roof access
  • Structural reinforcement
  • Additional cable routing
  • Additional electrical protection
  • Additional distribution-board works
  • Concealed wiring
  • Waterproofing works
  • Scaffolding
  • Lifting equipment
  • Additional manpower
  • Rectification of existing electrical defects

Electrical works requiring a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) will be subject to applicable Singapore requirements.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information regarding installation address, electrical supply, existing solar or PV equipment, roof and building conditions, access arrangements, existing electrical installation, required delivery information and any known site restrictions.

The customer must not modify, dismantle, reconnect or interfere with electrical equipment supplied or installed by UTICAsia Energy unless authorised and appropriately qualified to do so.

A customer may request cancellation before order processing, procurement, customisation or installation has commenced. Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing.

For standard products that have not yet been dispatched, UTICAsia Energy may approve cancellation subject to any applicable administrative or payment-processing charges. For customised, special-order or procured products, cancellation may not be possible once procurement or production has commenced.

Where cancellation is approved, any non-refundable third-party costs already incurred may be deducted where legally permissible and where the customer has been informed of such costs.

For installation or project orders, cancellation after procurement, site preparation or installation work has commenced may result in charges for materials already purchased, work already performed, transportation, labour, equipment rental, permits or professional services, and other reasonable costs already incurred.

The applicable cancellation amount will depend on the project stage and agreed quotation.

UTICAsia Energy will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather
  • Fire
  • Flood
  • Epidemic or pandemic
  • War
  • Civil disturbance
  • Government restrictions
  • Supply-chain disruption
  • Port or shipping delays
  • Power or telecommunications failures
  • Strikes
  • Manufacturer delays
  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected customers and resume performance as soon as reasonably practicable.

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, UTICAsia Energy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the purchase or use of our products or services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

UTICAsia Energy may update product specifications, availability, prices and these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to an order will generally be those in effect at the time the order is accepted, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or a transaction with UTICAsia Energy will be subject to the applicable jurisdiction of the Singapore courts, subject to any mandatory rights or dispute-resolution mechanisms available under Singapore law.
